“Just like any other letting agent”

Just like any other lettings agent - do little and communication is poor. Staff want to do things to suit themselves. Communication is poor - have to chase for updates. They don't monitor the rent is being paid. When the rent was paid late by tenant, the agent didn't notice. Provided place hasn't been left a mess at the end of the tenancy, they are happy (even if it obviously has not been cleaned (e.g. food still in the fridge and empty beer bottles).
