I was advised not to go with Taylors, but ignored their tales of woe... Should have listened !

Commission:
Very clever this one, verbally its 2% of selling price, on the contract it magically changes to 2% of initial selling price (has ANYONE ever got the full initial asking price EVER ?)

Contract Length:
Verbally a 6 week contract agreed, the contract said 12 weeks.

Fast Sale:
We said.. we're ready to go, so only send round people who can complete quickly.
So far, the only people being sent round have either not even got their house on the market, or have been trying to sell for months !

Unaccompanied Viewings:
Another clever ploy !
So far we've had 6 viewings, 5 of those have been without the estate agent. Either too busy, or dont have access to a car !
When I suggested that perhaps I should have a discount on the commission then they wanted to cancel any unaccompanied viewing already booked !

A true bunch of cowboys who give estate agents a well deserved bad name !
