I would definitely advise anyone wishing to let a property to AVOID Haart at all costs. They are terrible to deal with and have so many different people and departments to speak to who just fob you off and tell you different things. I have lost almost £3,000 in rent arrears and have had to pay over £1500 to get my property back into a lettable state. “Tenants Beware ”

Haart are one of the worst Property Management companies for tenants I have ever come across . They will Breach the tenancy agreement when they see fit or can not comply with it but do not admit to it. I have had to start legal proceeding against them and the landlord in order to get my deposit money back and to fight unsubstantiated claims made by the landlord regarding the dilapidation report which was not compared against the one done at the start of the tenancy. Very pleased with the service and help selling my sisters home following her sad death. The property sale went very well, selling the house within a week and the negotiations with the purchaser were excellent. Staff in the Weston-Super-Mare branch have been first class. We wouldn't even sell through Haart, our experience first hand seeing how two faced and condescending they are has put us off. We were chatting to one of the girls, obviously the gent we had been dealing with came in and the girl we were speaking to looked at him and giggled with a face saying 'yes, it's them again, run!' “Avoid for Letting ”

The local branch where great and helpful when it came to starting up the letting but after that it was awful. It took forever to get anything fixed in the flat! Not to mention there is no out of hours helpline for emergencies, so you have to wait until they are open for help. They got our rent due date wrong which caused quite a bit of confusion. In my 16 years of renting I have never ever come across such abhorrent and disgusting service. Dealing with Haart has been time consuming and incredibly stressful and I would strongly urge anyone to avoid using them as agents at all costs. We were approached by the fishponds branch saying they could sell our property as they had people lining up to buy properties like ours (park Home) we agreed and initially it was put on the market then after a couple of days it came off, when complained it went back on to only come off a few days later. If your thinking of putting your property on the market think twice about going with HAART. Massive fees just to pay for there luxury head office and for cars for the employees to drive around. We have effectively paid Haart 5 figures to hinder and delay the process of completing the sale. Haart were almost useless from the word go: they did not know anything about the property's roof, who owned the surrounding land, or whether planning had been granted for the additional work on the house. Haart were great... for about three days. As soon as I gave them my admin fee for my first ever rental flat, everything changed. They pushed my move-in date back and back, sometimes not even letting me know unless I called them the day I was supposed to move in! It took three months to FINALLY get into my flat. So its not just us in London that have to deal with this type of disgusting behaviour then? We are considering legal action against Haart and our lawyer has suggested, based on the similar issues others have experienced, that we should gather others for a class action - is this something you would be interested in discussing?

“Shoddy, unprofessional, lazy - avoid”

We tried to buy a house through Haart Brixton. Here are some of the things they did wrong: had no idea whether the roof was flat or not; had no idea who owned the land around the property; had no idea if planning had been granted for an extension; and we still made an offer. They then sent the wrong offer to the vendor; they sent us confirmation of the offer, with our names spelt wrong, to the wrong address.
