“Avoid for Letting ”

Written on: 05/08/2016 by JordinKennedy169 (1 review written)

The local branch where great and helpful when it came to starting up the letting but after that it was awful. It took forever to get anything fixed in the flat! Not to mention there is no out of hours helpline for emergencies, so you have to wait until they are open for help. They got our rent due date wrong which caused quite a bit of confusion. They will tell you, you have to pay to renew your tenancy which you don't you can renew on a monthly rolling which they don't have to charge for if… Read Full Review

“DO NOT EVER USE!! WORST LETTINGS AGENTS!!!”

Written on: 04/07/2016 by caLewis156 (1 review written)

In my 16 years of renting I have never ever come across such abhorrent and disgusting service. Dealing with Haart has been time consuming and incredibly stressful and I would strongly urge anyone to avoid using them as agents at all costs. When it came to repairs it took months for things to get fixed - for over 12 months I couldn't even open the sole window in my bedroom, we were unable to lock our back door for over 3 months, were without an oven for 2 months, had damp and black mould that… Read Full Review

“Rude and misleading agents”

Written on: 09/06/2016 by cdamsell (1 review written)

We were approached by the fishponds branch saying they could sell our property as they had people lining up to buy properties like ours (park Home) we agreed and initially it was put on the market then after a couple of days it came off, when complained it went back on to only come off a few days later. Spoke to a very very rude and arrogant man that said they couldnt sell our type of property (then why take it on in the first place or even approach us) we have not had a suitable explanation… Read Full Review

“Poor communications and condescending staff”

Written on: 27/05/2016 by Conor1985 (1 review written)

Below is the complaint I sent to Walthamstow branch manager: On 23rd December 2015 I came into your Walthamstow branch to ask if they had any new two bed properties to purchase. Was advised something had come in but would be processed in the new Year and an open day was likely in the 2nd working Saturday in January 2016. I would be contacted as to when this would be. At the start of 2016 I had to attend a Memorial Service abroad, Haart where aware and I impressed upon the agent that I… Read Full Review

Selling Property Hi, If i had an option to rate Haart's (Particular East Ham Branch) service in negative stars, i would have done it. Very poor communication, Really incompetent staff and awful service. I would suggest don't use them in your life for anything. I am a vendor and was looking for someone to help in selling my property. Called east Ham Haart branch. Manager came down to discuss various options and also to take the photos.Never gave us any transparency in terms of their… Read Full Review

“Bad service ”

Written on: 04/04/2016 by Daughertypx346 (1 review written)

If your thinking of putting your property on the market think twice about going with HAART. Massive fees just to pay for there luxury head office and for cars for the employees to drive around. Customer service is the worst I've experienced all very good for the first 14 days once contract is signed and the promises they give you to think your doing the best choice going with them so that they don't loose you as a customer, but after its TERRIBLE . From the day of signing contract takes a big… Read Full Review

“dim, uninterested, avoid”

Written on: 31/03/2016 by Reagang112 (1 review written)

We have effectively paid Haart 5 figures to hinder and delay the process of completing the sale. Haart were almost useless from the word go: they did not know anything about the property's roof, who owned the surrounding land, or whether planning had been granted for the additional work on the house. They were so bad at contacting the vendor we had to do it directly ourselves. We made an offer through Haart: they didn't respond to us for a month and relayed the offer incorrectly to the… Read Full Review

“THE WORST PROPERTY AGENTS IN NORTHAMPTON ”

Written on: 21/03/2016 by rebeccadudley (1 review written)

Haart were great... for about three days. As soon as I gave them my admin fee for my first ever rental flat, everything changed. They pushed my move-in date back and back, sometimes not even letting me know unless I called them the day I was supposed to move in! It took three months to FINALLY get into my flat. The day I moved in I ended up in tears and we had to go down to the Northampton branch to officially complain, which of course made no impact at all. Doors were still broken, the hot… Read Full Review

So its not just us in London that have to deal with this type of disgusting behaviour then? We are considering legal action against Haart and our lawyer has suggested, based on the similar issues others have experienced, that we should gather others for a class action - is this something you would be interested in discussing?

“Shoddy, unprofessional, lazy - avoid”

Written on: 21/03/2016

We tried to buy a house through Haart Brixton. Here are some of the things they did wrong: had no idea whether the roof was flat or not; had no idea who owned the land around the property; had no idea if planning had been granted for an extension; and we still made an offer. They then sent the wrong offer to the vendor; they sent us confirmation of the offer, with our names spelt wrong, to the wrong address. When complications with the sale emerged they were hopeless and just downright… Read Full Review

“Poor communicators, rude, incompetent”

Written on: 15/03/2016 by gmGriffith259 (1 review written)

To say that I am infuriated by Haarts complete incompetence would be a massive understatement. The Thornton Heath branch seem to follow the other branches in the way they do business, which is perhaps why the company has such poor reviews. Here is our story should anyone care: We are first time buyers and have been going through the exhausting process of trying to find our first home in London. Haarts lack of communication has lead to us missing out on a house we both fell in love with. We… Read Full Review

“Do not use at all costs in wsm”

Written on: 05/03/2016 by Meredithlm433 (1 review written)

Omg where do I start! We have had a year of stress from this company. Staff don't have a clue about their properties. You get a 10 minute viewing slot on properties and have to fill in the form then and there. Like pressure sales. There are people still viewing when you arrive and knocking on the door when you are viewing. No questions are answered as they don't know the answers to simple things like how is it heated? Huge mistake going for the property we did. It was filthy. Old tenants stuff… Read Full Review

Definitely. We are in the final stage of complaint which was meant to take 14 days by the MD. guess what it's now more than 14 days then we are moving on to small claims court. They don't keep to their own complaint procedures. I'm looking into media and watchdog etc so more people don't face the same misery and loss of money we have.

“MK branch useless”

Written on: 05/12/2015 by MrHankyXmasP00 (2 reviews written)

My partner was recently selling with Haart but throughout the process they were pretty useless. Not too many details but little things like not updating right move when requested (usually took 1-2 weeks of chasing). Missing out on potential buyers due to them turning up for viewings without keys. General incompetence like calling you by two different names repeatedly and never actually knowing what is going on with the chain. Eventually chain collapsed and house was sold again 2 weeks later… Read Full Review

“UTTER RUBBISH”

Written on: 11/11/2015 by chrisandrose (1 review written)

terms I put my property on market with Haart in 1st Oct 2014, the branch took until 22/10 to put my house on the market. By Jan 2015 no sale, then in Feb was asked to reduce the house price by the then branch manager and took an 8 weeks contract with very few viewings. Then April my 1st offer came in for lower than the asking price to which I decline, then no more offers until June 2015 another offer came in, I accepted & was assured that the buyer had a mortgage therefore looked for a… Read Full Review

“Unprofessional and unethical ”

Written on: 23/10/2015 by 134Smith (1 review written)

We viewed the property and gave offer for the flat (asking price) that they straight away declined. We add more money and add 5 k in our offer. After 2 days I got a call from the agent that landlord os happy with the offer and he accepted the offer. We requested for another viewing that was accepted ny them. We sorted out every little bit we need for that property. The agent explained us the whole procedure as our mortgage has been with them (500£ fees). He asked us to go for paperwork thT my… Read Full Review

Thanks for your review, we’re sorry that you lost out on a property. By law we do have to submit all offers to Vendors and sometimes this can mean Buyers are out bid, even if they have signed an agreement to pay our fees. If you’d like us to look into this in more detail please email us mentioning Review Center in your email header. Thank you

“Over-promised, under delivered”

Written on: 14/10/2015 by uksundance (3 reviews written)

Awful, simply awful, awful, awful. Do not under any circumstances give these amateurs your business and let them sell your house! They really deserve a NO star rating but this site's validation doesn't allow it! I was initially pestered on a weekly basis about how good a job they could do for me so eventually I said 'put up or shut up' - come around tomorrow and make a pitch and I'll decide. I have to say though that the pitch by the local Branch manager was quite compelling and I had a good… Read Full Review

“Integrity is a word oblivious to them.”

Written on: 11/10/2015

Property management when it comes to resolving repairs or receiving your deposit back within the guidelines set in the lease you sign is not adhered to. I had countless issues in resolving repairs. Two months to replace a dish washer; one month to replace a washer/dryer; six months of on going boiler issues and these were all due to them not responding to contractors assigned to carry out the repairs. It took two months to receive my deposit back after countless phone calls and endless… Read Full Review
