Omg where do I start! We have had a year of stress from this company.
Staff don't have a clue about their properties. You get a 10 minute viewing slot on properties and have to fill in the form then and there. Like pressure sales. There are people still viewing when you arrive and knocking on the door when you are viewing. No questions are answered as they don't know the answers to simple things like how is it heated?
Huge mistake going for the property we did. It was filthy. Old tenants stuff still in it and drugs equipment in the back garden. Expected to meet at the property on contract day - nope had to go to office to sign a badly copied contract and get keys. Went to property which was unlocked and we didn't even have the right keys. One set of keys was kept by old tenant and took 3 weeks of fighting to get the locks changed. Repair works were awful and took forever. I was pregnant and ended up in hospital with all the stress. We needed a long term let and were very clear. We signed a 12 month contract had to decorate and so repairs at our own cost then guess what we got served notice at 5 months. My baby was a few weeks old. The move out was as bad as the move in. No inspection before we left. No collection of keys we again had to go to the office. The landlord was unaware of the state of the property we moved into and said they never gave permission for us to decorate. Haart told us we could at viewing and knew what we were doing. The landlord always planned to return to the house within 12 months! We had to go to deposit despite as haart never stood up for us. We lost hundreds and spent hundreds. Complaints system is awful they all just stick together and deny everything. We escalated and gave heard nothing for nearly a month. Absolutely awful customer service. We are a young family who they have put in hospital and debt and don't care at all. All they want is your money. Avoid avoid avoid. Our new agents are amazing and so different. No pressure sales. Things done in good time. Good communication. If only this Haart agent could shut down and save other people the stress and money.

We had a similar experience and are considering legal action against Haart and our lawyer has suggested, based on the similar issues others have experienced, that we should gather others for a class action - is this something you would be interested in discussing?

Definitely. We are in the final stage of complaint which was meant to take 14 days by the MD. guess what it's now more than 14 days then we are moving on to small claims court. They don't keep to their own complaint procedures. I'm looking into media and watchdog etc so more people don't face the same misery and loss of money we have.
