I wanted to view a property through a Brighton branch, but they were more interested in selling me a mortgage than a house.

Every single phone call or viewing I have with them I get pushed to see their financial adviser.

Don't get bullied by them.

totally agree with you, I am so angry with them, have bullied me to get a mortgage with them, its not a good deal, The mortgage provider will give them £589 for me taken out the mortgage, I have told them I do not want to use the conveyance company as it is more expensive than any of the quotes They are not happy, I know I am going to loose the house, because I do not want to use there over priced services.
went into the branch after offer had been accepted, she had already pulled of the mortgage details had to take in my bank statement, she ask for my bank card, passport etc, as I'm walking out I look at the paper work and says what this , I've taken out my fees, I had already told here, that there was no savings in that account. I am so angry, and feel so stupid, have put in a complaint, got a letter to say its not refundable, They should not be allowed to trade.
