“Didn't confirm my offer in writing”

I put an offer in for a house that was being sold by Express agency and they didnt even bother to put my offer in writing or come back to me to inform me whether my offer had been accepted or not. I didnt therefore get the change to put in an higher offer for my dream house and the person selling the house may have got more money than what they got.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review, we do genuinely value all the feedback we receive, both positive and negative.

It is always difficult to comment on any negative reviews via a forum that does not give us direct contact details. Feedback is always valuable to us as a great source of learning and we are very keen to understand this in more detail.

Can you please email us quoting reference RC02407/SB/BS and your property details to allow us to investigate this?

Our pricing policy is simply based upon achieving maximum value for our customers in the timescales that suit them. Despite now having the address to double check this we often have numerous offers for our clients. Whilst we fully appreciate how devastating it must have been for you to lose out on the property, this property would have been keenly priced to generate high levels of interest. Equally we only ever follow our client’s instructions, as any Estate Agency is legally obliged to do.

We take every complaint extremely seriously and constructively as possible, to please, once again I would urge you to contact us directly then I can understand why you haven’t received this information in writing.

Warm regards
The Express Estate Agency
