Its not often people say positive things about estate agents but I have to say that Connells in Ferndown showed me that there is such a thing as a fantastic service. It started when I decided to get my rental property valued and I had 3 agents have a look. Connells gave the highest valuation and were confident they could get me a great price for my house. THEY DID!! In fact they got me 10,000 more than the agent a few doors down from them said I would get. Yes they did charge me a higher fee than the other agents quoted but once it all went through (in less than 10 weeks) I was over 8,000 better off than if I had used the "cheaper" agent. They updated me throughout and even helped me with the confusing legal paperwork. I then decided to buy a new place to live in and the girls at the office drove me from apartment to apartment until I found the right one - I don't drive so this made a huge difference to me. They helped me to sort out my mortgage and again did all my legal paperwork with me and they never complained once. Due to my mobility issues they then went that extra mile and gave up their own free time to help me move in and even put up my curtains! They didn't have to do this but as they said "they wanted to help" and make sure I was ok.
I have read a lot of the negative reviews on here and have to say my experience of the Ferndown team was amazing and if I ever move again I shall use no-one else! So if you are reading this and live in this area just walk in their office and see how friendly, professional and helpful they are - in my eyes they are the best and believe in customer service whilst still being 100% salespeople.
So thank you Karen, Abbie, Sam & holly for being fantastic - I shall send everyone I know in your direction!
