The Mr Bean of Estate Agents !

I would recommend that sellers are very aware of what appears to be the practice of Bridgefords Chorley of overvaluing your property and then within weeks asking you to reduce the price.
Within 6 weeks and 1 viewing of my mother's property the office asked us to reduce the price. This was followed within the next few weeks with further requests and no viewings.
The staff called the day before an arranged 'open day' to inform us of the event which again resulted in no viewings.
We were told the property was not selling because - it was on a road or it required too much work.
The photos taken were awful and the description missed out so many lovely features of the house. I asked at the beginning of the sale for them to change this which they never did.
This is the most useless and unprofessional business I have ever encountered.
After the required 6 month contract and 1 viewing my sister requested that they take the house off their books. The manager asked her to e mail her with the request and she would see what she could do ! Priceless.
