My flat is rented out through Bridgfords. I have had occasion to contact them, or should I say TRY to contact them, on several occasions.
My calls are not returned when I have managed to leave a message. My emails are unanswered even though I asked for an email back to confirm they had received mine. I have just now tried to call them again and received a recorded message saying there is no-one to take my call - no voicemail facility, nothing, the line went dead after that message. In effect no-one can be bothered to answer the phone - tough luck.
The only time they were anxious to talk to me was when they wanted my vote in some industry award thing when I was bombarded with 'vote for us' requests.
Never, never would I use them again. When my contract is up for renewal they can wave goodbye to my business.
In addition to the difficulty in contacting them, they also cost me an unnecessary £200 by having a 5 year periodic inspection redone after only 1 year. That was just deducted from the rent. Again tough luck. RUBBISH.
