I have been trying to book an appointment with Bairstow eves acocks green since last year November to ask them to manage my BTL property without success. The manager of the BTL team was unhelpful and rude his customer service skills are so poor, i had just in one day called the branch 5 times for them to give me an update but they failed to call me. KEEP AWAY VERY VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

We acknowledged your situation and had numerous conversations in the branch regarding the BTL purchase of your property. We advised we could not book an appointment prior to completion of the purchase due to the current owners privacy and we respect this completely in line within the processes for sale. We had conversations with your partner regarding that you had found tenants privately for the property and wanted a company tenancy agreement to accompany this. We cannot provide a tenancy agreement for free, and there is a fee to charge for this which i advised of. I sent emails on 15th January and 28th January detailing our fee's and costs involved and had booked an appointment for you to attend the office on a wednesday evening - to which you did not show. You then agreed to move in your tenants without a tenancy agreement, and when i advised we could manage the property for you and that we would need to satisfactorily reference the tenants in order to do so, this was met with objections and frustrations when we could not provide a free tenancy agreement to you along with the tenants already being in arrears. I accept there was somewhat a breakdown in communication throughout the process, but i maintain that we cannot arrange a rental valuation appointment and market a property until legal completion coupled with the issues above, that this is not bad customer service offered, merely a breakdown in communication between potential landlords and Bairstow Eves, but I believe we’ve acted correctly and professionally.
