me and a friend visited clowns in december 2012 we both orderered the mixed grill £15.99. I Have had mixed grills from different restaurants but in my opionion this is one of the best for the money. The good thing that clowns do is their menu it goes in detail whats included and weight of steak, sausages etc so you have idea what your getting. i ordered gammon and chips in a different restaurant (not clowns) thought i was getting gammon steak but got two slices of gammon ham! not quite the same. I found the portion size at clowns very good, chips came on side plate and there was plenty of them unlike some restaurants who put only a few on your main plate. I dont understand people who complain about getting too much food id rather have too much than too little. The food was well cooked and tasty, didnt find it greasy like some other customer on here has said, however i do agree that the restaurant is a bit dated however it looks clean, the staff are well presented and the food is good which is the main thing note to owners i have been here before so i know what the restaurant was like but from outside the restaurant as a new customer looks like cheap cafe your a lot better than a cheap cafe needs work to draw new customers in
