“Poorest customer service I ever had”

I was looking for a long time on the internet to find a pair of Aquacat boots, because I already have a pair of the same brand and after nearly ten years, I needed a new pair. I did not find the boots anywhere in Europe. Then, I found the boots on that website. I ordered a pair of the Aquacat riding boots. I wore them for only some weeks. Hi

We are sorry to read this review and do remember the order in question. When a customer uses a product, and subsequently claims it is faulty, we have to be clear that the fault has not been caused by either normal wear and tear, or misuse of the boots by the customer. These boots were not indestructible, and sadly we could not agree that the boots were faulty - we felt that they had not been properly cared for. Despite this, we did contact the manufacturer, in case they had a different opinion. This would have enabled us to provide a replacement or refund. We forwarded the images and complaint to the manufacturer, and the delay in responding was caused by us waiting for a response. The manufacturer agreed that the boots were not faulty. We understood your view that the boots costing £60 should last longer, however we do believe that it is all about how you treat a pair of boots. We would love to have resolved this to your satisfaction, but sadly this was not possible due to our differing views.

“Appalling communication”

Gaiters that I ordered to replace a return that were expected begining of February now not available until the end of March!!! We are sorry to read this review. Since February 2015 we believe that we have improved our communication with customers markedly when dealing with items that are on back order from Suppliers (these kind of orders are very rare). We are not able to refund customers return postage costs for non-faulty products (we do provide freepost and collection services for faulty products though) and this is very clear in our terms that are published on our website.

Bought a horseware horse rug from here and the one I received was different detailing to the one they pictured in their listing. Contacted them and very unhelpful and said return it back to uu. We provide Freepost services for the return of all faulty and incorrect items so that the customer does not have to cover this cost, even initially. In recent months however, where an incorrect item can be verified by the customer emailing a quick photo, we have started using courier 'swap' services to collect incorrect items and deliver the correct ones at the same time. These are rare occasions but are better for the customer. Had this error occurred recently, this is the way we would have dealt with it. It is never our intention to send goods out that are incorrect, so we are very sorry to hear about this error.

I ordered some Mark Todd short boots on 6th Sept during a visit to their Somerford park shop where they young assistance was very pleasant. She told me she would ring me on Monday to advise when they would be in, this didn't happen. “Terrible customer service”

Products are cheap on their website - but often for a reason as this shop is known for sending out faulty goods. Their customer service is non-existant, when returning an item it was impossible to speak to the manager and the person dealing with the problem was clueless. “Friendly, Reliable, Excellent Service and Fab Stores”

This company have stores in the Derbyshire area as well as their internet site where they sell items through. I found that the internet site had so much stock to choose from, and the pricing was excellent, one of the cheapest around. The dispatch times were quicker than stated and the items reached me in excellent condition!
