I've used mail.com for a number of years and when mail.com works, it works well. But when it doesn't, it is a nightmare.
My account was hacked and then subsequently blocked by mail.com. I've sent a number of email messages (with required info such as name, IP address, security question, etc.) to mail.com and all I get is an automated reply re-requesting the same info. Be warned that unlike other email providers, there is NO telephone number to contact them, so you are essentially stuck with their robo customer service. Therefore, when you have a major problem, it is virtually impossible to resolve. Now I can't access anything from my mail.com account which unfortunately I've been using as my primary email for years.
