“Non-existent customer service”

There was a glitch in the switch to them but they did not inform me and continued to set up and take direct debits. They take forever to answer the phone and they do not respond to messages you post online through your account even though they seem to promote this means of communication. A dreadful company to deal with, appalling customer service. They failed to send me a contract renewal and, despite me reminding them of this fact several times, I decided to move my business elsewhere - to a company that would talk to me and respond to my queries for example. My electricity account with them closed on the 28th June and they've continued taking money from my account even after the account close date. “Be cautious or destory your credit rating”

Wont setup a direct debit when they open a new account if you have moved into a property already supplied by them. After I setup and account with them I kept an eye on the online account and made debit card payments (that are charged extra) after checking my bills that were estimated and in the third month after i realised i was over due tried to raise a complaint and get a direct debit setup. Please do not go there!!! Switched last year due to price. Upped my DD within a couple of months bills issued on their estimates every 4 months until I threatened OFGEM although I gave regular readings. Then tried to DOUBLE my payment. Used this company when first started and they were good. Returned last year for three year fix and it has been very fractious. NO STARS This company are best avoided unless you want a load of AGGRO. I enrolled onto a community dual energy program with them last November. I had a small issue whereby I had had storage heaters and my electric had been on economy 7 three and a half years ago and I always have to explain this whenever I change energy supplier. The customer services is absolutely disgusting and after reading other reviews this seems to be the key theme so how can a company like this carry on? Because people keep using them, we need to boycott companies like this. I had an issue that needed resolving and they couldn't give a satisfactory response, I suspected my meter may have been faulty following a large bill upon my leaving the property. After almost 5 months waiting for iSupply to swap me over from Eon to their duel fuel tariff I only have gas. I have had to pay Eon a premium as I have had to wait 4 and a half months for them to connect my electricity. The customer services (when you finally get an answer) say all the right things but deliver nothing, i have been charged £30 a month for 5 months ( it should have been 4! so i was overcharged) the whole time being told that they would connect me to the original tariff. Until recently, I was unable to send them messages online. It's only when I e-mailed them through Moneysavingexperts Resolver complaint engine (somehow they know their e-mail address), that they began accepting online messages from me.

I was 20 days from escalating to the Ombudsman when they resolved my issue.
Definitely recommend starting a case on the Resolver, it's free and then you don't forget stuff, as my experience with iSupply is that they'll use everyday that they can to drag things out.

Beware of them overcharging and not refunding you !! I used iSupply for the last two or three years with fixed 12 month contracts and it was all ok because I never had to contact them except to supply meter readings on their website (which is badly designed and can be painful). Until I noticed at the end of the last contract (Nov 2015) that they had about £400 in credit. Well, iSupply actually responded to my online message.
They said the refund would be sent by BACS directly to my account.
Excitedly I was checking my account everyday, praying for my 400+ quid to arrive.
10 days later, nothing !
Unfortunately I've still got to wait to at least end of Nov, before escalating to the Ombudsman.
I'm sure iSupplyEnergy are having a great laugh.

Well, iSupply actually responded again and said the refund would now be sent 02 Nov.
Just checked my account and amazingly, the the dough was there.

Hurray, after holding onto my money for a year, I'm finally done and dusted with iSupplyEnergy.

Similar experience. But my balance in credit kept increasing over 3 years and after repeated attempts to get it back, I finally left with £460 still to be refunded. Waiting till Dec to escalate to the Ombudsman, hope it doesn't come to small claims court.

Absolute outrage is an understatement. I moved out of there rented property in March 18th and sent my last reading. This they said was invalid,but no reason for why. HOW?!? I rang them at the end of March and they said they would compile the final balance.£435!!! Absolute joke!! Tried to switch to a different supplier but isupply refused to switch saying I owed them outstanding balance. Read the meter which I sent them they then said this was invalid as the meter had not been read for a while previously. They have since increased my tariff and direct debit.
