ABSOLUTE HELL - RUINED OUR LIVES. SERIOUSLY. HAD TO SELL UP.

Just saying the word opus energy makes me feel physically sick. They have caused so much stress and anxiety over the past year we have had to put our shop up for sale because we just can't handle it anymore.

I am not one to fall for cold callers but the person who rented the shop before us said when opus energy rang they said they were British Gas. That was a complete lie. Next thing she knew she received a ridiculous bill from opus energy. The shop has been supplied by British Gas for over 10 years but is now supplied by opus energy. So the previous people who used to rent has left the shop because they couldn't handle them so we took over and opus energy said we didn't need to stay with them because we are the new owners but then suddenly when we rang them up the following day to cancel opus energy they wouldn't let us leave.

We have paid all their bills which are crazily high but they still continue to ring us every week asking for more money. Today they rang asking us to pay £400 and they harass you that much you just end up paying. Then the following week it happens again. Why aren't the government closing companies like this down? Its ruined our lives, our business, our livelihood and our mental health.

I never write reviews honestly I don't and I hope people reading this will realise how messed up this company is. I just don't understand how a company like this can get away with it in the UK? How can their employees go sleep at night doing what they do to decent hardworking people just trying to make a living? I can't sleep and I am constantly thinking about the next time they harass us. It just won't stop and I can't do this anymore.
