I use Good Energy as I was recommend to them by the company that fitted my solar panels as a good company to use for the Feed In Tariff payments (FIT). However they are exceedingly slow from taking and submitting a FIT metre reading to getting the money in your account for the previous quarter can take over 2 months.

Other people I know who use one of the bigger companies for FIT payments receive a cheque within a few days of taking a reading. Good Energy seem to wait to get the money from the FIT scheme before paying to the customer while larger companies pay straight away and then process the claim.

So if you are planning on having solar panels don't use Good Energy for your FIT payments
