“Wouldn't recommend it”

This smeg SE2773TC2 hob replaced a 5 plate Kupersbusch we had fitted with the kitchen 10 years ago. We replaced the work surface recently so thought we ought to change the hob as the "hole" would be different when the Kuppersbusch finally gave up. So we bought this Smeg. Boy what a mistake. It looks good and it's easy to clean as it's touch control, no knobs like the old one. That's where the advantages stop. From day one it took ages to heat up and then once hot wouldn't cool down.
