We bought a Fagor Induction Hob it is 3 years old and has now stopped working. We contacted Fagor as we had a 5 year warranty and were told that we are not covered, they argue that they never received the warranty. The appliance wasn't cheap and you cannot get anywhere with the customer service. The only reason we bought this was because of the 5 year warranty. Its disgusting, the usual case of once they have got your money they are not interested.

Fagor = no customer service! Buy at your peril I purchased induction hob and it worked fine for 18 months then 2 plates stopped working. Fagor response = out of warranty - sorry. Fagor only interested in selling extended warranty. If the products were any good then warranty not needed. cooker should surely last longer as not cheap & repairs are expensive. I had much better experience with NEF customer service. ONLY BUY FROM BIG COMPANY. FAGOR WILL ALWAYS BE SMALL COMPANY.

How coincidental - I have had exactly the same situation with a Fagor induction hob. Big ring stopped working last year and they stated they couldn't "find" our 5 year warranty registration they did at least offer us a "free" repair. It then took 5 visits from their engineers to fix it.
6 months later (The hob is still less than 3 years old) and ALL four other rings stopped working - this time I paid the £160 repair fee, the engineer came out 4 times and couldn't fix it. I rang Customer service today and they stated "We cannot fix your hob - we don't know what is wrong with it" - They made it, how can they not know how to fix it?
They offered to refund the repair cost, less the call out which leaves us with a £900 useless appliance, £100 out of pocket for the failed repair and 4 x 1/2 days off work waiting for the engineers to attempt fixes.
If anyone is CONSIDERING buying Fagor, DeDietrich or any other of their brands DONT - Go and buy something German, not this Spanish (won't let me use the word I wanted) rubbish
