I swapped a good quality les paul copy for a 1984 squier bullet many years back. Its a rosewood neck, japanese made 3 single coil pickup model. It was the 1980s and I needed another strat-type to mess about on and as a backup for stage. It certainly didnt disappoint. Once I'd set up the action properly this was a great backup guitar on stage to a customised 2 x humbucker strat with floyd rose. Over the years its had a floyd rose fitted, a neck humbucker (now removed) and a GK-2A roland guitar synth pickup )also now removed). The original pickups and sound were good - and thats what it has been returned to. It is now finished in a Scottish Flag pattern and I am about to give it away to my partners son as his first guitar.
