Taking the On-line Boot Camp kicked my trining efforts into high gear. I reviewed another Exam Prep book prior to the boot camp and then the boot camp tied all of the pieces together. There is a lot of material that needs to be covered and the boot camp did an excellent job of focusing the study materials. In addition, the Blue Book could then be used for additional on-going reveiw and preparation. Would higly recommend going through the boot camp. (read more)

PMTI was recommended to me and the training actually surpassed my expectations. If you follow what is taught on PMP Exam preparation you can pass the exam. Well they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks but PMTI has proved that is WRONG! I have played at getting my PMP for 5 years but really got serious in January. With the pre-program and the boot camp it helped me pull together ALL the information in a logical manner. Thanks for the information above. I have a couple of questions for you, of that's ok.
1. How much studying did you do prior to attending the 4 day boot camp? I.e. did you study 2 to 3 months ahead or just went in for the 4 days course?
2. If you studied prior to attending the boot camp, do you have Ny tips you'd like to share, please?
I'm quite nervous because I've been trying to study the PMBOK but it just seems so lengthy that it scares me and I get lost and have a hard time concentrating.
Appreciate any feedback!

The only preparation I prior to the class was going through PMTI's online course, which they provide access to once you sign up for the 4 day course, and I took their practice test online.
You will learn in the course that you do NOT need to read the entire PMBOK. They present the critical material you need to pass the test.
I wish I had done this years ago. Good luck!
