I tried with many different approaches, but i could never get myself to really learn a foreign language.

Then one day i stumbled on Babbel and gave it a try - and was sold from the first moment on.

The Videogame-like Interface motivated me and turned learning into a great game, i mean, my wife even had to stop me from learning with Babbel.com nonstop, otherwise i wouldn't have slept anymore.

Finally a positive addiction: learning languages.

I started with French and went on - i even tried german - and succeeded.

Holidays in Paris were great fun - i could easily order stuff in good french - because i used the pronunciation-training with speech-recognition, so i did not only learn the theory of a language, no, i can now speak French, Spanish and German - in RL.

Since language learning is so much fun now, i recommend it to anyone - just give it a try and find out for yourself. At least i won't stop until i reach my great goal: speaking 10 languages. Without working too hard, but instead playing more :)
