I have to say i have found the Eco Experts comparison tool a fair way to match me to a local supplier. I have now had my Solar Panels installed and am very happy with the overall service. I prefer the method of treating you like an individual with a personal and friendly quick chat about what i was after and the suppliers that i was contacted by did not make me feel pressurized or nervous. I was told that my details would be passed to a maximum of 4 companies which I thought was reasonable. However, the email I received from eco experts only shows one company so how am I to get a fair comparison of cost. I may as well ask a number of companies to quote direct and also there was no explanantion as to why only one company was recommended. (read more)

After filling in the online form, I had a really quick conversation with them to confirm what they would do and then within a day I'd had 3 calls and booked 3 appointments all at my convenience. I registered with the Eco Experts less than an hour ago to enquire about my property's suitability for Solar panels. In this time I have received 8 phone calls from various suppliers all wanting to send people over to quote. It seems that Eco Experts are simply a referal service that are paid through some referal system and they are only interested in getting your name and contact details out there. During a telephone interview I answered all the questions put as fully as I could, I was happy to have contact with suppliers but I explicitly asked nobody to contact me until after 12 th September. Brilliant outcome! The first company suggested were just stupidly expensive and also sold windows. 2hours of salesman rubbish! By the time the second company were here I had done a lot of internet research and talked to neighbours with solar systems in place. The second company were so good at explaining how the system works and what you need to get the best out of it and so very much more. More than 2.5 hours, but well worth while. Yes I had the same experience. . Also asked not to be called during the daytime between a specified week as I would be sleeping due to working night shifts. This was overlooked , I was called during the day! I have now today 22/6/12 asked them to remove all my details from their system.

Further more I now receive at least 3 emails a day from them offering anything from cheap Pharmaceuticals to Holidays. This company is just a front for a full scale spam operation. Give them your details at your peril.
