I run a small company based in Northern Ireland, specialising in bespoke video camera kits for a variety of purposes. Alot of my kits are in remote areas where access is difficult. “135 Watt Cleversolar panels”

Purchased 2 x 135 panels to fit to a 47 foot sailing boat. Had useful advise from Martyn, and installed the panels in February 2012. On first connecting to the batteries, on a completely overcast day, with additional shading from mast and an awning, the panels put out 6 amps with the batteries already near full charge. Very impressive performance to get such an output on such a day. Expect that the panels will easily keep up with the fridge and autopilot. (read more)

Considering solar for my small quart-in-pint-pot campervan cursed with a power-hungry electric fridge, CleverSolar gave very detailed, informative advice via timely emails and a lengthy telephone call. My goal was to prolong the time the fridge would run off-grid alongside other demands such as LED lighting and pumps: specifically, to ensure it would run overnight and hopefully for a second night. I purchased, and was very happy with a 100W panel and Steca controller. About six months later I started having trouble with it. I will say at this point, the problem was my installation, there was nothing wrong with the products! I phoned up for some help and advice and the support was absolutely outstanding. I purchased a 100 watt panel roof kit and Steca 10/10 controller a month ago, Advice from the company is excellent. Kit duly arrived next day, fitted panel to roof following instructions, everything is included. The Steca control is great well worth the extra. Cable through roof was easy and well sealed. Fitted an aux output for tv from Steca too so that powers directly from panel during day. Looks and works as described, now we can keep our battery topped up easily. (read more)

I needed a 90W solar panel in a hurry for a last minute caravan trip away from any mains hookup and a panel with the smallest footprint possible to fit the tight space available on my caravan roof. After quite a bit of online research, I opted for the Cleversolar slimline 90W complete solar kit as it looked like a good quality option; ordered it on Wednesday evening, it was delivered on the Friday after, Brilliant!
