Sure you can use all the code you want but you can also use a very simple WYSIWYG editor for most of the backend tools you'll need. We received one on one training from them at the beginning and every care was taken to ensure our store ran with ease. And still, if something comes up, when we call we are greeted by our first names. Hats off to Chris and Dennis in GoECart tech support. My husband even calls to see how the weather is in Connecticut (we're in California) and the call is always answered on the first ring, no hoops to jump through to get to them. My husband's only gripe is tech support does not have a toll free number but they told us it's coming soon. They do not allow you to upload your own custom software code. So, you are dependent on them for any source code customizations. But, they do support your customizations for life. 2. The product is not suitable for large softgood downloads like Movies etc. You are better off looking at alternate solutions if that is what you are looking to do.
