“FIRST THREE lessons cancelled”

★☆☆☆☆

written by magpiefairy on 28/03/2013

We gave our nephew a RED 2 hour voucher, courtesy of Tesco Clubcard. The first lesson booked online through RED was cancelled by the instructor, excuse, having an early break, he then told my nephew to book direct with him and that RED instructors were not vetted. Second lesson booked through RED website was cancelled, by email, on the day of lesson, reason given: driving instructor not available. My sister then complained to RED who apologised and booked a third lesson, that lesson was supposed to take place today at 12 noon, by 12:30 when no one had turned up my sister phoned the driving instructor who said RED had double booked him, even though he, himself, had sent an email confirming the booking.

Stay away if thinking of using clubcard vouchers, the driving instructors are scamming the pupils, trying to get their custom without going through RED.
