I have had a number of driving instructor before but [name removed] was miles better, she knew what she was doing and her techniques really worked. She was a bit strict but understanding at the same time. I learned a lot more in her intensive one month lesson than I have with all the other previous driving instructors combined. I was so pleased with the service that I actually recommended her to some of my friends.

I leant to drive with [name removed] at Kan Kan in St Annes after giving up lessons for 6months + because my previous instructor made it very hard work and knocked my confidence. [name removed]was recommended by a friend and from my first lesson I could tell why, she is very patient and helpful beyond her initial needs. If i wasn't sure on something she would explain multiple ways to overcome it untill I was comfortable and confident and we were both happy, I didn't think I was the best of drivers but her praise and her happy attitude to driving built my confidence enough to pass my test. Always greated with a big smile and offers great value for money! Honestly I think if it wasn't for [name removed]'s lovely personality and interacting so well with her pupils I wouldn't be in the position of freedom I'm in now :)

I've just passed my driving test (first attempt!) after learning to drive with [name removed]. I had about 8/9 months worth of lessons. [name removed] is professional, punctual, reliable, friendly and always made me feel comfortable. She has a great sense of humour which helped put me at ease. She has a wonderful system (all her own work) of paper handouts which include diagrams to explain manouvers, procedures, road systems etc. These are great for recapping prior to your next lesson and to help retain the information in the first place! The methods that she uses are logical and easy to understand. [name removed] always debriefs after lessons and ensures that the experience had been positive and all information is understood. I thoroughly enjoyed learning to drive with [name removed] and shall miss seeing her on a regular basis! I have noticed that there are some negative reviews here regarding people's experiences with the company - I can't add an opinion in this area as I never had direct contact with KanKan as I always dealt directly with [name removed]. I would highly recommend learning to drive with [name removed] - you won't be disappointed! :)

I had [name removed] from the Kan Kan Driving school in blackpool.. I felt my lessons were excellent.. [name removed] was always on time to pick me up.. My lessons were always worth the money.. I felt the lessons were cheap.. I would recommend Kan Kan Driving school to everyone.. I had a great driving experience with them.. And thanks to [name removed] i passed my test.

I had just about given up on driving lessons, I had been doing th For a year and a half, my previous instructor was very slow and complicated the manoeuvres. I swapped driving instructors and went with Kan Kan, they put me on touch with [name removed]who was lovely. Really calm, explained things really simple. I had about 10 lessons with her and past my test, anyone looking for an instructor I would definately recommend [name removed], she really helped me. After doing my lessons smith the other instructor I was starting to lose my confidence, but [name removed] gave me that back!

I had a great instructor in swindon called [name removed]. She explained everything in detail and was very patient with me. I learnt in Leicester few years ago with a male and he would shout at me and put me off. It's took me a few years to have the courage to start again. My instructor was fab and I would recommend her to anyone. I really looke forward to my lessons. My friend Aaliyah who passed with her gave me her details. Me and [name removed] became friends and are still in touch.

I had the good fortune to have been recommended Kan Kan driving school by a friend. I felt comfortable from day one by my instructor [name removed], Lythem St Annes. She made me feel at ease and all though she was extremely efficient we still had a great laugh. She was extremely friendly and professional. Without a doubt I would recommend Kan Kan to all my friends. I confidently passed my test, many thanks to [name removed]and Kan Kan driving school.

I previously had lessons (and lots of them) with Acclaim. My instructor barely spoke to me and did nothing to instill confidence in my ability to drive, so I didn't get very far and decided to change (leaving Acclaim turned out to be an event in itself!). Needless to say, I was very, very nervous in my first lesson with [name removed], however, I have to say she is an absolutely fantastic instructor! Within weeks I had learnt more than what I had done in almost a year with Acclaim! Very professional, [name removed] ensures you are totally comfortable and explains how to do things clearly. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to learn to drive. Also, I think [name removed] should definitely write a book of [name removed]-isms! Lovely lady, brilliant instructor, couldn't want anything more than that!

I am sorry to hear that others have had bad experience with kankan. however i have not dealt with kankan call centre. I contacted my instructor directly after noticing her car parked on the street. [name removed]is extremely thorough and makes sure you understand eveything you will be doing each lesson. She is punctual and always gives you notice if her plans change.[name removed] has handouts to back up your learning in a folder which you can refer back to, such as manouvres etc.. I was with RED before and although instuctor was ok I realised that I was simply driving on instruction and not thinking for myself. Wendy explains everything simply and has over 10 yrs experience so has been doing this for long time. I would strongly reccomend her, as driving is a life long skill and she is also there for you even after you pass for help and advice.

KanKan driving school is great. Staff are very friendly get you the help you need as soon as you want it at a time to suit you, I recommend this driving school to any age women wanting to learn to drive. It's easy to sign up great value for money and my driving instructor is brill. She tells it like it is and will help you to pass to the highest standard in the quickest time. I have four children and I work so having time is not easy however my instructor is happy to work around this and it never causes me a problem. You can buy lessons in bulk or pay as you go!

I would recommend kan kan driving school to any female learning to drive, I was really nervous at first but when I met my instructor she made me feel confident. I have learnt so much already and only on my fourth lesson. I think it's good that you can choose how many hours you want in a lesson & you can choose what time and day you want the lesson. I feel that I have learnt so much already and I know my instructor is going to make me pass! :-)

I was not happy with my instructor,they told me that's fine,they will find another one in my area,IT HAS BEEN FIVE MONTHS and i have called them more than 50 times!!! every time i call them somebody tells me it's sorted now,the new instructor will call you tomorrow,and that tomorrow has never came!!!I go throw the same process every day and no result and they say the money is not refundable (£64.50 I paid), if kan kan is the only driving school on the earth DO NOT CALL THEM FOR ANY REASON

My current driving instructor [name removed] is very nice, Makes me feel very realaxed and she is pretty funny. One problem... She hardly shows up! I have now had 6hours worth of driving lessons and with all of them she has rang/text me saying that she isn't able to make it and gives me some sort of excuse. The other day it was because she had to get hold of a builder and had quite a few problems to sort out. Then yesturday she text me at 7am (3 hours before my lesson) saying she can't make it because her son is ill but that she can give me a lesson today wich i agreed to.. I then get a call later that evening saying she can't do it because she has 'sprained' her ancle. Very unreliable! Also it isn't very fair as in the terms and conditions it does say that if i wish to cancel the lesson or change it for another day i have to give 24 hours notice.. Yet it is ok for her to cancel 3 hours before my lesson? I also don't appriciate that on my 1st lesson she told me i HAVE to turn my phone off wich i happily done, As she starts explaining things about the lesson she gets a phonecall and answers it. This happend quite a few times in this lesson.
