“Don't be fooled”

This company is not a training school. They are a broker who simply farm your training out. This company even get their own elpoyees to write reviews pretending to be satisfied customers. If you are serious about getting your HGV licence then get real and go direct to a propper local company. Cut out the mioddleman who makes all sorts of promisses to get your money. Easy as HGV are also the LGV Training Company. Two websites, two companies!!!!! (read more)

I'm not normally one for reviews but I thought I should share my positive experience. When I was getting ready for training (Medical, Theory, etc)I would call up an someone at Easy As Hgv would always answer any questions. When it came to the driving my instructor was called and spoke to a top bloke who really helped my confidence although I let him down by passing 2nd time(he was really supportive about this) but the guy I trained with a gentleman and passed 1st time so hopefully it... “DRIVERS CPC TRAINING”

I CONTACTED EASYASHGV TO BOOK MY CPC TRAINING AND PAID £600 FOR ALL 35 HOURS. WHICH I KNOW WAS BIT OVER PRICED BUT WORKING LONG HOURS I THOUGHT IT WOULD TAKE THE HASSLE OFF FINDING PLACE ETC. I COMPLETED MY FIRST 2 DAYS (14 HOURS) AND PHONED TO ASK WHAT MODULE I WAS DOING NEXT AS AT THIS POINT I WAS UNAWARE THAT YOU CAN REPEAT THE SAME COURSE IF YOU CHOOSE TO GAIN 35 HOURS. “Going for my hgv licence”

I've wanted to do my hgv for some time and now I've finally found the courage to do so and contacted easy as hgv and its the best thing I've done as the trainers/ advisors on the end of the phone are excellent. Ed the person I'm in contact with is extremely helpful and if you have any problems or don't understand anything Ed goes through it step by step which is very helpful, along with the rest of the team who book the theory test side of it as they sort it all straight away thanks guys. “Very Happy”

I recently got made redundant, looked around and the only jobs I could find were HGV jobs. I Spoke to a trainer called andrew who was very helpful, he made everything very simple and looked after me from start to finish. The training was top notch, i was made to feel very relaxed and i surprised myself and passed 1st time!!! He's now helping me find my first job with their recruitmen team, would deff recommend this company. Winner !! (read more)

“hgv training course”

I got a Cat C licence to drive my horsebox. I didnt really know how to do it all and thats where Easy As HGV were very helpful, they sorted everything. I had my own training advisor. If i had been looking for work they could have helped with that. My instructor was brilliant - cheers. Would def recommend them to my friends. (read more)

“Not Like The Others..”

I approached Easy As HGV having been ripped off by another HGV Training Company for £2000. I spoke to a Training Advisor who really understood what I needed, I am a bus and lorry 'C' driver and they helped me through the process to get my 'C+E' licence. The advisor was really informative and talked me through the process and also informed me of the legislation that circled around dual licence holders which was unheard of with the other company. who told me just doing a C+E licence on its... “Easy as HGV. Trick!!! Swindlers!!!”

I paid Them almost 2000 pounds for C category. That was included 299 pass protection + 199 CPC . Pass protction value 299 it`s just another test and 2 hours training before that , the real price of the test 115 pounds and each hour training it`s 60 pounds per hour. But after I failed test they offered me another training 12 hours for 720 pounds. Also they can`t tell me the date and place of my training before I full pay them for it. But I know I have to wait at least 2 month as my trainer... (read more)

That's Really strange, as per the majority of the comments on this page, I was very happy with my constent contact from my advisor - he really looked after me and I passed first time.

First they take your money - then 1/2 hour later when it is cleared in their bank, they ring you and say they need more for CPC and then MORE money just in case you fail your test they can slot you in quickly for another test. They tell you that they will work with you till you have a full time job and that they have companies that take on new drivers. “Easy as give me your credit card details”

Possibly the worst experience in my life. Once the smooth talking person gets your credit card details they try to book you in for a medical and after that your theory test.you can wait up to six weeks if you want to go local to where you live. I was then sent one and a half hours drive from home for tuition with the most intimidating bully I have ever come across in my life. I used EASY as hgv to do my artic c+e course in Manchester where I live. The school I trained with was really friendly and professional and i trained in the truck on my own which worked best for me and I was happy with that. When i finished and passed Easy AS hgv helped me get my cv finished and looking good to send to new jobs and they are sending me jobs to apply for as well. “Would NOT recommend EasyasHGV”

In my experience this company was quite deceitful as when I signed up for the course and test, they mentioned a CPC qualification was necessary, and when I asked about that they simply said it was just another certificate and we could discuss it after I paid for the course. After I paid I was then told that it cost £200 and I had to get this qualification if I wanted to drive a lorry for a living. Easy as hgv were very friendly and the guys there seem to know what they are talking about. I did my cat c with them on a 5 day course , I need some extra hours and they were happy to allocate these on the week I was already booked in for. I liked that I could phone the head quarters whenever i needed to ask something about it as it was all new to me. They included everything I need even the forms to get the new licence card.
