I passed today in Swindon! I used to be very nervous, due to issues with an PREVIOUS instructer. When I had my first lesson with this instructor, I knew I was going to do well as he was; friendly, patient and very supportive. I have just got back from my first lesson with bennetts driving school and I can see why they are so cheap! Because you only get to do about 15 minutes of actual driving on your first lesson. The car was nice and the instructor friendly but I won't be continuing with my lessons as I do actually need to pass this year and that won't be possible with this school. (read more)

I have been having lessons with an instructor in Bristol for some time but he is always later, smelling of smoke and I don't seem to be progressing with my driving in any way. Initially the lessons went ok but all he now seems to do is moan about my driving and tell me how unhappy he is doing his job! Apparently he doesn't have enough people to teach. is it any wonder? I am now looking for another school to spend my money on a decent instructor. (read more)

Jean Jones was very flexible in arranging lessons around when I was available and would easily and happily switch me lesson when needed. All her lessons were tailored to me, and were adjusted to fit my way of learning. Due to her amazing teaching and skills I managed to pass without many lessons, even with me stopping for a month or so on several occasions to focus on my studies. Bennetts is a very good driving school, gave me everything I needed to pass first time. I came to Bennetts Driving School after a number of lessons with a well known, large, Automobile Association. When I first met my instructor, I was an unconfident, scared and fed-up learner driver. My daughter has just started taking lessons with Peter Cushion and I'm really pleased so far! Pete's really friendly when he comes to pick Jas up for her lesson, tries his best to get the times and days that suit us, and most importantly, Jas feels really confidant and comfortable with him, he explains everything and is patient and she says he's very funny! The lessons were always entertaining but also very informative!
