DO NOT entertain Weatherseal on the phone or your doorstep. They have no morals and will try everything to get you to sign up. They have stolen £50 from my account and refuse to give it back

They have pestered me for weeks to let someone come round as they were in the area and give me a quote for a roofline even though I said I wouldnt be having one in the next two years. They just said you havent got anything to lose because it costs you nothing.

To cut a long story short the next day I tried to cancel as I thought l had been a bit hasty deciding to go along with the enthusiastic salesman masquerading as a nice helpful friendly representative who was definitely on my side and was going to get me the best discounts. The head office didnt want to know and gave the representative my number to call me back. He was just going to another house call but took the time out to assure me that I was worrying unnecessarily and his manager would call me back to see what he could do for me. First he tried to be nice offering me further discounts and then turned nasty when I said I didnt want him to take the £50 deposit from my card, or the designer to come round and measure up and I wanted to cancel. They have taken the £50 and are refusing to give it back saying they have no proof that I cancelled because I told them over the phone and not by letter. Even after weeks of this dispute I am still getting calls from their call centre. After they introduce themselves I just say if you are not phoning to give me my £50 back that you stole - forget it. They hang up!!!! I wish I had hung up, being too polite has cost me £50 but believe me it will cost them more than £50 in reputation, because if I'd read a review like this before I heard from them politeness would have gone straight out of the window.
