Had a cold call on Monday, and asked the saleman to come round on the tuesday at 11 am, he turned up at 1 that afternoon!
I need to replace my windows and I need new ones for an extention i'm building, so i let him go on, 2 hours later! after discounts it will be £17K. I told him to wrap it up as i will not commit to anything until I read up on them. so today salesman number 2 turns up, and gives us a quote of £23k which he dropped it to £11078... but said if we think that it is still to high they could come down some..which begs the question how cheap are the windows in the first place?
so I'm still looking for windows and WILL NOT BE USING WEATHERSEAL. just in case they are reading this.
it looks like I got away with just an ear bashing!

I had an encounter with one just now. Arrived at 7::30pm and still in the house at about 10:00pm. Not happy with thier lifestyle plan. Refused to give a ball figure amount of the product. Preoocuped with monthly payments which will cost me about 7,000 in 4 years or 12;000 in 10 yrs.. Wanted me to sign there and then. I said no. Still waiting for a feedback from his boss.
