Avoid at all costs!

I made the mistake of being talked into buying windows from this company through a Home Energy Scotland incentive offering a financial rebate for energy saving windows. The fitters arrived and removed four of my six Everest windows (26 years old but still in good condition)before they realized that none of the six new Penicuik windows were the right size(all were too small).The fitters left the new windows in place and made my house "wind and watertight" using expanding foam. They contacted the Field Manager who blamed the surveyor and promised that correctly sized windows would be manufactured within "seven to ten days" and that we would be contacted when they were ready. Now, nearly five weeks later, I am still waiting to hear about my windows - my house resembles a building site (no sills, exposed cavity walls and metal fixing brackets) and the company don't seem remotely interested in solving the problem. The customer service that we have received has been appalling and one department does not speak to another. We have, however, received several marketing calls offering a discount on our next purchase and to add insult to injury we have just received a letter informing us that we will be charged £90 by Direct Debit for accidental damage insurance cover for my new windows which are not even fitted yet!!
