I write this review hopefully as a helpful criticism to G2S and potential customers.
Ordered full house d/g and front door in August 2013 - all delivered and installed on time and to a good standard and price, but we were not shown how to open the side opening windows fully for cleaning purposes, which was not evident at all - had to telephone to ask.
A pity there were no plastic end caps provided to the front door sill - evidently this was not an option and the result does look a little shabby on close inspection. Also there could have been some plastic end caps to the inside of the knocker bolts, which would help aesthetically; small point but important.

In late December I noticed bad condensation inbetween the panes of a fixed window unit and notified the company in early Jan. Was told that there would be an 8 week wait for delivery and installation (!) and that we would be informed of a date / time and telephoned on the day to make sure we were at home.
A new unit was delivered in early March on the day in question but no phone call beforehand and it was fortunate we were in when the installer called. However, the unit was the wrong size!

I rang the company later that day and complained. Told my complaint had been logged and they tried to put me through to the Services Department but they were busy and would call me back asap. No call back.

I then wrote personally to the MD of Sales expressing my disappointment at the service I had received. No reply.

Days later I had a phone call from G2S telling me that although the new (correct size) unit was now in stock, due to installers being off sick it would not be delivered and fitted until mid April - again disappointing and the person in question also had no knowledge of what had happened regarding my previous experiences with them (poor internal communication again?).
I look forward to having the new unit installed on time.

Clearly G2S have some fundamental internal and customer service issues to address and I sincerely hope this review will prove useful in helping them improve this aspect of their business.
