Dad is 85 years old. The door (they say is to preveent it being accidently left open) locks when pulled to....without doing anything at all with the key. Today dad came out and shut the door with a key in the lock on the inside...so dooor was locked and couldn't even open it with the spare from the outside. I wouldn't buy a catflap designed by this company!

Most people realise that if you leave a key on the inside of a door you will not be able to unlock it from outside. However, Everest now do a high security key cylinder that if a key is accidentally left inside, the door can still be unlocked from outside. I work for Everest and this really isn't the fault of the Everest product.
