Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole!

I have recently had the utter displeasure of dealing with Evander so-called Glazing after my Insurance company instructed them to deal with my conservatory roof which leaked in several places following very high winds. A pleasant man came to access damage and informed me they would be removing panels and resealing as ness. Arrangements were made and the fitters turned up as expected. The 1st thing they told me was that they couldn't guarantee that the roof wouldn't leak again, fair enough I thought,they're covering themselves. Work was completed by lunchtime and they went on their way. All was good until the next high winds 10 days later when the roof leaked worse than before. I called Evander and was told they would come to assess approx mid morning on the next day. I arranged with my Mother (who was looking after my Dad following a recent cancer operation) to sit in the house until they were done. They didn't turn up! I got a phone call after 6pm from a fitter saying he was on his way to look at the roof. I told him I thought it was a waste of his & my time as it was now dark. Following a complaint to the office we had the manager arrange to come and insect personally at 7.20 am. He came and tested with a hose but couldn't get it to leak so left me with some dust sheets as a precaution. The following day we had high winds and the roof leaked again. I took photos and e-mailed them to the manager showing the water on the dust sheets he had left. After a couple of weeks of hearing nothing I contacted the manager again. He informed me that they were looking at replacing the roof and we're awaiting approval. Again, after a couple of weeks of hearing nothing I sent another e-mail and phoned my insurance company to make another complaint. Again we had to wait a few days only for them to inform the insurance company that they wouldn't take responsibility for the roof still leaking as there were no proof it was still leaking.
There are other elements to this story but it's long and boring enough already. If anyone reading this is offered the services of Evander I would recommend you FIND SOMEONE ELSE.
