Sales person - Brilliant

Surveyor - Brilliant

Office staff - Awful.

They have a real attitude problem, bordering on rude and arrogant which gives Crystal a bad name as they are I understand a family business and are very nice people. Shame.


Window Fitters - Top guys. Hard workers and really lovely, nothing too much trouble. Cleaned as they went. 10/10

Guttering guys - Nice guys and did a great job but they left a terrible mess, dirt and rubble left for us to sweep up all around the house when we got home that night.

Communication with the office - Awful, total lack of communication. Once you've paid your deposit that's it mate. You won't hear from Crustal again and I had to call to check that they were coming on the allotted date only to be told that the scaffolders had to erect the scaffolding the week before and needed access to the back of the house. This wasn't explained at any time, even by the surveyor. My wife and I both work and it was impossible to take time off which caused a lot of stress as the scaffolders are independent to Crystal.

As per usual with these big companies, Crystal are all very easy to get hold of when you're ordering, but once the work has been done and minor adjustments are needed, it's a months wait until they can come back. When I made that comment to a member of staff, they said that they hear that all day long.

We are delighted with our windows etc and they're well worth the money but having paid all that money, a courtesy call after fitting would have gone a long way. Not a word from one of them since the day I paid my deposit. Even when I called to pay the balance they didn't say 'thanks for your custom'. Leaves a bit of a bad taste.

Overall, if Crystal could teach ALL of their office staff some good customer services I would have given them 10/10 but as it stands I'd have to give them 5/10
