Dishonest fitters

We used Crystal Windows as they had provided a good service in the past. Online recommendations were good so we employed Crystal Windows to fit five windows. After day one our son noticed items of clothing had been taken from within his wardrobe. This meant that the fitters had opened the wardrobe door and taken the clothing. The company were challenged. They stated that the items of clothing were found wrapped up in a dust sheet in the back of the fitter's van.
The suggestion here is that it was a mistake. This is an absolute impossibility. The clothing was contained within a wardrobe with the door shut and the fitters had no authority or reason to go in it.
The Customer Service response from Crystal Windows has been poor. They did not seem to have a clear procedure to handle this allegation. They were very non committal & although they apologised their demeanour seemed to lack sincerity.
The window installation continued with a second team of fitters and the work was completed to a good standard and the window product is also good.
We have had to chase the removal of scaffolding on a number of occasions. Although we have highlighted it is obstructive to our neighbours, the response has been slow.
We would not use Crystal Windows again nor recommend them.
