The original timber double glazed windows were in quite good condition but had become obsolete in insulation performance. The external doors were much poorer,draughty and less secure. We looked at various companies' ranges but liked and settled upon C R Smith's Lorimer range.
The sales representative was very helpful, the estimate attractive and installation appointments easily arranged.
The installation team were very efficient with a high standard of work and finish. The only problem was confusion over some external cladding but this was quickly resolved.
Performance after installation (about 9 months ago)has been good overall with some jamming of locks quickly remedied.One area of disappointment has been draught resistance around handles which is poorer than expected.
