We had Anglian Home Improvements replace our windows and door in 2012, this was meant to take 3 days at the least it took 1 day to fit 6 windows and 1 front door and it WAS NOT A PLEASENT EXPERIENCE. Customer care isn't worth the paper it's written on. We have had a few problems which I feel if the time had actually been taken to listen and then try to correct to the standard that they say on adverts and the website then there would be no problems to complain about, I feel like we've been fobbed off. In fairness to the fitters who do come, they do try but it just seems that work sheets aren't updated or information isn't correct. Our complaints vary and there's a list so I'll pick a few, the door being fitted with a spy hole which I neither ordered or wanted, paint flaking off the door which has now been changed but it's now leaking through the glass moulding where silicon has been applied and re-applied but it still leaks, in November 2015 my daughter arrived home from school to find the living room window had imploded, now this is where I've lost all faith in Anglian we got in contact with Anglian the same day to be asked to give measurements over the phone so new glass could be ordered. We didn't as we felt this wasn't our responsibility, what if we had got the measurements wrong what then. They eventually got the measurements from our order, yes that's right no one came out to even inspect what had actually happened. Through various phone calls and getting nowhere but frustrated upset and angry Anglian decided to contact us to arrange for a new window to be fitted. 18th of December a new window was being fitted but as the fitters try to fit it, it completely shatters. I'm not amused to say the least after a few discussions we agree to a polycarbonate sheet being fitted as it's the Xmas holidays this was agreed to be fitted 2 or 3 days before Christmas, I waited until 1.30 pm no one had arrived so I contacted Anglian to be told they had no idea of any one coming out and the person I was dealing with was not available, again the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I'm told they'll try to get an emergency glass repair to come to have a look. Finally someone arrives they tell me Anglian had contacted them asking for a film to be fitted over the window, but they couldn't as there's nothing they could fit it to has the glass that's there is heavily condensated it wouldn't stick and on closer inspection the glass thickness apparently is not thick enough for the span of glass. We asked if a manager could come out, this was arranged for a couple of weeks ago no one turned up or contacted ourselves with an explanation, we phoned again to be told they couldn't get hold of a manager. This has gone on for a few months we eventually get hold of Anglian again a promise of a manager coming out to visit and discuss what's gone on,that's for this week, so fingers crossed this will get sorted.
