Don't go near them!

The salesman we saw was good at his job & gave us a great deal & said windows would be 8weeks, took surveyor 3weeks to come & he told us would be about 8 weeks (that already was going to take us over the initial 8weeks we were told) because they had to get planning permission, all the work we are doing on our property was booked around this 8 weeks, have just found out surveyor took nearly 3weeks to hand paperwork to Anglian architect & local planning office didn't receive paperwork from them for a futher 3 weeks, taking us to just under 9weeks from our initial appointment!! Going to take up to 6-8 weeks for planning to come through & then a date for fitting will have to be arranged all in all it's going to take minimum 16 weeks not the 8 we were told!! I have been in touch with Anglian about this & asked if they could fit all windows just now (so all building work can be finished) & doors later, the reply ' no we can't because the doors & windows are all one order & we can't split the order up' If Anglian kept in touch with customers & let them know how things are going time wise & planning wise then we would be able to adjust to that, as far as I'm concerned they make no communication with the customer until its to late, in case they cancel the agreement. LATEST- Local manger has said he will try again to see if windows can be fitted befor doors, nice guy, but not gonna hold my breathe! DON'T GO NEAR THEM!
