“So many broken promises... and took ages!”

I originally had this company in to build my conservatory. The job when finished was ok but so many issues including no one turning up, half way through the job, for 3 weeks and no explanation given. Another issue was they cemented over my rain water drain so my path flooded whenever it rained. 4 seasons went on to say this has nothing to do with them as they didn't agree any drainage work - there was no reason to block it up in the first place! We have just used this company construct a large glass edwradian style glass roofed conservatory for us. The whole experience has been professional from start to finish. We particularily like the fact that the company uses all its own bricklayers, fitters and plasterers etc. We found everyone at 4Seasons to be very polite and helpfull and everybody seemed keen to do the best possible job for us. “Avoid - Avoid 4seasons in Essex - Guarantee Worthless”

This is not a double glazing company you can trust. We had a problem with our double glazing so phoned 4Seasons. Initially we were told your problem is not covered by the guarantee. We spoke to the Trading Institute who said it was covered. Phoned 4 Seasons again and was told the Company Director would get back - of course, he didn't. So we phoned them, the person we spoke to was rude and aggressive and kept saying "are you sure it was this firm?" Yes, you are the only 4Season Windows... (read more)

This company should be out of business but Tradiding Standards are failing in their duty of care to the public to protect from such rogue traders stealing money for failed work.

I have to disagree with the quality of work carried out by 4 seasons. In order to get a sales, the owner Les is very convincing, polite and a charmer, but I must stress he does not deliver what he sells. We have had a conservatory fitted and from day one the roof has leaked, I have for the past 3 years constantly tried to get them to get this defect corrected, and as yet this has not happened. After sales service is well below that you would expect after spending 10's of thousands of pounds.... (read more)

Hi,
Yes I have the exact problem but had mine 4 years and on my 4th call out have waited a month so far not even a phone call back did you get any further has it stopped leaking mine seems to get worse every time not better

Unfortunately I have not heard anything further from them its so typical of them, take your money under false after sales promises. When we first noticed the leak, it blew out an expensive light we had hanging inthe centre where it leaks from, they came to repair the leak by putting in extra sealant, which has made no difference and he refused to compensate for the damaged light.. I would not reccomend them even if they came out and fixed the leak, as once you have a bad experience you dont want others to through the same..

“Rogue trader to be avoided ”

This company took a large deposit of £1800 on a Visa Debit card from our 78 year old relative and when we tried to cancel the order 8 days later they only offered back £544.44 and after Trading Standards got involved this was increased to £1000 giving us a loss of £800 amazing as it is to us this was considered a civil matter and Trading Standards were unable to get true justice and stated we would have to pursue the matter by court action. 4 Seasons Conservatories also call them selves...
