From beginning to end, this is quite possibly my worst retail experience EVER. Bought a new fridge freezer last weekend from Curry's at Bridge of Dee, Aberdeen. Service up on the mezzanine level was very slow even though numerous staff members were standing around at the tills downstairs - I waited c. 15 mins before I managed to get somebody's attention. I would normally have walked out but there was a £75 discount ending that weekend. Once I was served, it took two members of staff to work out how to order the item and take my payment. Delivery was scheduled for today. I've waited all day and re-arranged my Saturday to accommodate delivery. Item has just arrived and I've been sent an EX DISPLAY model full of dents and scratches. I am absolutely furious and feeling like I've been treated like some idiot who would pay full price for a sub-standard ex-display item. Delivery drivers contacted the store and I've been advised that I will need to go back there if I want a refund - a 30 mile round trip. I will definitely not use Curry's ever again for electrical goods.
