avoid, avoid, avoid

I bought a Bosch VarioPerfect washing machine for next day delivery. The delivery timeslot was confirmed and I took a day off. I checked their website, it said that the goods were on their way and should be with me around 3 p.m. All good so far. Waited until 5, phoned them up, the lady explained that they tried to deliver but I wasn't home! This was clearly a lie because:
- I was in my bedroom all day, the bedroom that's near the door;
- They didn't leave a card;
- They had my phone number but they didn't call or leave a voicemail.
Clearly they were lying, not a single doubt about it. But, wait, this gets better.
The lady on the phone asked me if I want her to arrange a delivery for the next day. We are a busy household, and our old washing machine had been broken for about a week, so I had to agree. She assured me that I'll definitely get it the following day, and if she didn't call me back, I should assume that everything's fine. I took another day off. The next morning, I switch on the PC and the delivery status says something like 'contact required'. I phone them up, and the same lady explains to me that the order had not been placed for that day and she had no idea who it was who said that it would. I cancelled the order, waited for them to refund my money and reserved a TV in my nearest store. I took a ZipVan for an hour, drove there, showed my confirmation, paid, and was expecting to get that washing machine, however... 40 minutes later after I extended van rental foranother hour, a guy comes out and explains to me that they haven't got any washing machines that I had just paid for in stock.
This company is absolutely worthless, avoid them at any cost.
