White Knight CL300 tumble dryer, advertised at same price as both Argos and Asda but the advantage was Currys was available for collection where the others were delivery only. Being cautious I unwrapped and checked the product in Currys car park, noticing the vital adaptor for hose fitment absent from the machine I went back into the store to ask for it, Currys didnt have it but they offered to sell me a condensing bucket attatchment at another £23 that would probably have the part I wanted, I refused and took the dryer home where I found something that would suffice, once the dryer was installed and working I settled down to make further enquiries, or to be accurate complaints, from both Currys and Crosslee, who manufacture the White Knight products, so far after two days I have received no response from Currys but an almost instant reply from Crosslee stating the adaptor was not to be sent with machines destined for Currys stores, this was a Currys request nothing to do with Crosslee, now this on its own is a strange request from the retailer made even stranger that the retailer does not even stock this part if the purchaser was even aware it was needed to enable a hose to be fitted to the outlet.
I dont have a clue why Currys are adopting this weired policy, a typical buyer will blame Crosslee when the real culprit is Currys.
I would encourage anyone considering a purchase from Currys to do a lot of research first as to what an appliance comes with then buy it somewhere else
