So my boyfriend decided to order online the new Google Nexus 7. We spend a lot of time completing the order only to find out in the end it didn't go through. We started the process again, and this time the order gone through. We paid to be received on a certain date, and took time off work to receive the package.
After talking with friends and telling us their experience with Comet, we got a little bit concerned. We didn't get anything over e-mail such as a receipt number, a tracking order, nothing. But the money went out of the account very conveniently.
I called about two times, the first time having to wait more then twenty minutes over the phone to get put through an adviser. They said there's no order with his name and address. Called a second time to talk with a different adviser (maybe the previous adviser made a mistake). Again, no recollection of the order. Nowhere in the system. Obviously this was quite concerning. Had to ask for the money back (OBVIOUSLY!!!) and again I was held on the phone for a looooong time for that.
Finally, it was sorted, but this was an imposition. We decided to go with someone else. Comet was greatly disappointing. Would not recommend to anyone.
