After we had an electrical item delivered with essential parts missing, we chased up instore to find out what was going on.It was a mistake ever going shopping there. Originally we were told that the parts would be with uys by the end of the week, but instore we were told that the parts hadn't been ordered after all, and it could take another 2 weeks. We were naturally dismayed, and put across our recollection of events of the number of parts needed (they'd changed the number), and time frames. The staff member implied we were lying, and because my wife was upset and in tears at this stage, she then accused my wife of being volatile and she implied she needed extra staff to protect herself. My wife, who was actually caring for our baby son at the same time, felt extremely threatened and upset by this, and had to go sit down. In the meantime, I continued with trying to get the refund. The staff member kept changing her story, and was extremely argumentative, saying at one point I could have a full refund but then changing the story and only offering a partial refund. I was using my mobile phone close to my eyes to get in touch with some people who would be interested in the situation whilst I was instore, at which point they tried to stop me using my mobile phone because they said I was trying to film them! Hardly likely, I was dialing a number, as I showed them. When it came to the refund, they then tried to deliberately obscure the screen to stop us seeing what they were writing and doing on the screen, as if they had something to hide. One staff member even presented himself closely between the computer and me, so that all I could see was his blue shirt. WHen I asked him for his name, he said "My name is my name," and refused to tell me who he was. They used the excuse that they were training him and needed to show him the screen, but choosing only that exact moment to block my view sounds like it's a lie made up to try to explain why they wouldn't let me see the refund. After much arguing by the staff, they finally relented and gave us a full refund, and are allegedly collecting their goods this Sunday. However, I have no faith in them and would not recommend them to anyone after they reduced my wife to tears and were abusive and obstructive to us.
