We bought an Indesit Fridge Freezer Jan 2012, just over a week ago (mar 12th)the fridge stopped working. I phoned through to their customer service (if you can call it that!) helpline to request a new appliance. It has to be repaired first, which ok, but it was getting them out to do it... the first available was 3 days later. The engineer was due to call by 10am to state when he would arrrive. My husband who works nights had to stay up & wait, by 4.20 still nothing from the engineer so he called customer service, who said they would get a manager to call back. No call, eventually the next day after 4 further calls to customer service,(at 10p per min) it was arranged for a manager to contact me on monday! A new date was arranged for the repair.Today the engineer arrived took the model & serial number, told me he would order the new part (which is well know to COMET!)& a new date would be fixed once the modification part come in!!! So now Im looking at yet another week without a fridge!
So not only have I had the expense & inconvenience of buying fresh food on a daily basis, the amount of food Iv had to throw away PLUS a nightshift from work we lost due to my husband being unfit to work, because he sat up all day (after working a 12hr shift)waitng for an engineer to come who apparently didnt even have our repair on his list for that day!!! LOVELY SERVICE COMET......NOT!!!!!!!!!!!
