“Light/Senior & Duck and Potatoe.”

Written on: 15/06/2011

Initially I was intending to change the diet of my two whippets(Sallie & Jack) onto a raw food diet, however I began to realise it was not going to be practical, but having researched what was being put into the dried food I had been giving them for a long long time, believing it was "one of the best" on the market I was anxious about the effect it was probably having on them. I had seen Heights Farm Pet Foods at Houghton Towers before Christmas but assumed it was similar to the stuff I was already buying, but that afternoon I heard Radio Lancashire interviewing Stephen about the ingredients in the food; I thought that sounds worth a try. Having received the free samples which were wolfed down I visited Houghton Tower in January and bought a big sack of "light" because Sal & Jack were quite overweight. By March I had seen a smashing improvement, both looked much slimmer and Sal in particular being elderly was much more active and alert, I remember watching her run on the beach and thinking "I think I should put myself on those biscuits if thats the effect!!" We are in June now and they still have the "light" but I am mixing it with "Duck and Potatoe" but I have to say they spit the light bits out and eat the duck so I pick up the spat out bits and they eat them when the ducks gone!! which is probably what most of us would do given the choice between low fat diety stuff and the yummy full fat stuff! Customer service is first class; what more can I say. O yes I have recommended it to my friend who has also seen a positive improvement in her dog too.
