We booked our dog (Monty) into Royvon at Merthyr for the complete training package, which lasted three weeks. David did an excellent job with our somewhat boisterous dog. Although we now have a lot of work to do in 'transferring' the training into our home environment, we have much increased confidence that Monty can indeed be trained to walk to heel, not pull on the lead and in recall. When I picked our dog up, David demonstrated what he had achieved with Monty, and then spent quite a while talking me through what I had to do back at home. He very patiently answered all my questions and gave me lots of advice on how to handle particular situations. I practised the commands and was amazed at how obedient our dog had become! Monty obviously enjoyed his stay at Royvon, and he had developed a good bond with David, his trainer. His wagging tail said it all! I loved looking at the photos posted on facebook every day, and I'm pretty sure our dog was smiling in a lot of them...! We are looking forward to our follow-up visit in a few weeks time.
