“Best Holiday Ever!”

Written on: 15/04/2015 by efMeredith307 (1 review written)

Bobby Scooby and Dylan had a wonderful time! I was so pleased to collect them and see their tails still wagging! We loved seeing photos of their antics while we were away and the amazing photos of them congratulating us on our wedding! It was the first time we had left them somewhere and Im so pleased we chose Royvon for their stay. We will definitely be choosing Royvon for their next holiday adventure! We would like to thank everyone there for their care whilst we were away!… Read Full Review

After meeting the staff of Coventry Royvon you immediately get the impression that they love and understand dogs, that they know what they are talking about and will take the best of care of your dog while you are away. They are also able to cater for a wide variety of needs whether it is accommodation, exercise or training. Our dog, Roxy, really loves her Royvon experiences and gets so excited as we approach in the car. The daily photographs on Facebook reassure you that your dog is having a… Read Full Review

“Party Time”

Written on: 13/04/2015 by johnsonjayne (1 review written)

Have used this kennels several times and I am happy knowing that my dog is having just as good a holiday as we are. Its great to look at the photos they post on facebook while we are away showing what a good time the dogs are having. They even arranged a party for my dog as it was her birthday whilst we were away. The kids really enjoyed looking at those photos. Rudy even put a little weight on with all the extra treats she was allowed - as it was her birthday. Would definitely recommend using… Read Full Review

“Pup was smiling!”

Written on: 10/04/2015 by AlexiaCombs461 (1 review written)

First time leaving my puppy in kennels, had to go away for a few days with work. Looked on-line and saw a lot of different kennels locally but nothing really stood out. Then I saw royvon, their website was well laid out, details on kennels and activity schedules, then I saw that they put photos of the dogs playing on facebook and instagram, that piqued my interest, would be great to see how my dog was getting on whilst I was away, so took the plunge, booking was easy, they even offer to come… Read Full Review

“Best training and boarding! ”

Written on: 04/04/2015 by Fsm20 (1 review written)

Both my dogs board at Royvon and have had training with stay during holidays. However, this time I neded BIG help - a rescue dog I sponsor was becoming agressive and difficult and was due to be pts as no one wanted him. I had met him and could see a lot of promise - but knew he needed intense help fast! I cannot explain in words the miracle  all the team at Royvon has brought about! Feel free to check Marvin's videos on their page and you will see for yourself what was achieved in 3 weeks!… Read Full Review

“Truly professional service! ”

Written on: 28/03/2015 by mcr105 (1 review written)

We found Royvon at the most perfect time and we could not be happier and more grateful to the wonderful team, particularly the person who trained him. Our 18 month GSD started to become aggressive towards other dogs and people when my wife, myself and our three little children were around, he was showing signs of dominating guests in the home and after a few incidences we started loosing confidence in him around dogs and people. Today, after the 3 week training package we collected our calm… Read Full Review

“Mia Loves Royvon”

Written on: 25/03/2015 by AmyBarson (1 review written)

We were worried about taking our girl to the kennels for the first ever time shortly after we got her as we didn't know how she would cope but she had the time of her life on her first 2 week visit and has been back a couple of times since. They take such good care of her when she is there, upload photos of her and all dogs each day to keep us in the loop and when we collect her, as excited as she is to see us, she doesn't seem to want to leave. Dropping her off is a breeze as she runs… Read Full Review

“over the moon! ”

Written on: 14/03/2015 by sammyjb19 (1 review written)

My 7 month old hungarian vizsla went to Royvon for a 3 week training package. His behaviour at home was getting out of hand, we couldn't walk him anywhere there were other dogs or people. He had knocked people over, knocked a man off his bike, and taken down a jogger! I was at my wits end. I was sceptical they would be able to help, but any improvement would have been a bonus. I can't believe the difference in just 3 weeks! He is an absolute joy to walk on the lead,he understands and obeys… Read Full Review

Booked our very naughty Schnauzer in for a three week stay and training. He has come back a much happier, well behaved and well trained dog. Unbelievable what they have done for him in such a short space of time. He walks on a lead extremely well, cannot believe it. I would not hesitate to recommend and Ted will certainly be going back for the occasional stay and refresher… Read Full Review

“Best doggie holiday ever!”

Written on: 07/03/2015 by vic1978 (1 review written)

We booked both our dogs in for 3 weeks one for training, the other for behaviour modification. We missed them desperately at first but then with the regular pictures on Facebook we got each day, we could see they were having an amazing time. Both dogs came home healthy, freshly bathed and much better behaved. It was great to be able to do the training session at the end of the three weeks with them, I got to see that my antisocial dog was so much better behaved than I could ever have hoped for… Read Full Review

“The change in Ruby's behaviour.”

Written on: 22/02/2015 by Ruby2015 (1 review written)

We had arrived at a point with our rescue Staffie Cross where either Ruby became manageable or she would have to be re homed. She had become very reactive and aggressive towards other dogs and men. She also pulled very strongly on the lead. We had tried training classes and all sorts of leads and harnesses but the situation had become intolerable, walks had become a nightmare and we could not have friends or visitors to our house. Ruby was even reactive to us if we made a movement that she… Read Full Review

“My 3 dogs love staying at Royvon”

Written on: 17/02/2015 by MurleyCat (1 review written)

We put our three dogs into Royvon last year as I had to have several operations. We have an English Bulldog, a Beagle and an excited Border Terrier. Royvon was recommended by a friend and it more than lived up to the recommendation. The daily uploads to facebook reassure you that the dogs are having fun and when you are missing them it gives you something to look forward to, catching up on the day's activities. The staff are lovely and our dogs adore them, there are lots of cuddles. The dogs… Read Full Review

“Over 4 kilos lost in 3 weeks - AVOID AT ALL COST”

Written on: 27/11/2014 by RobHalesowen (1 review written)

The duty of care is disgusting, whilst the training may be ok Having collected our Boxer after 3 weeks, we have had to go straight the vets, She high a temperate and pneumonia! We are now awaiting blood tests to see if any further problems have been caused by their total lack of care! They didn't tell us anything about how ill she had been, surely they must have noticed, or just interested in taking your money and not looking after the dog! To say I am angry would be an understand, I am… Read Full Review

Darren James's Response to RobHalesowen's Review

Written on: 16/01/2015

There are many aspects of this situation which hasn't mentioned but I thought I would respond to the aspects that has been

The dogs name is Georgie and she did have an underlying condition which developed into pneumonia. While in our care she was under supervision for weight loss and various procedures were being adopted on a daily basis to deal with the loss in weight. Due to Georgie being so happy and showing her exuberence our team didn't feel that there was any problem with her health, as stated we were aware of the weight loss but were managing that problem.

Georgie departed on the Tuesday afternoon as she'd been on an obedience course for 3 weeks and the owner Mr. xxxxxx was very happy with the service and gave a considerable tip to the person responsible for Georgie's care and training.

Mr. xxxxxxx was aware of the weight loss on the Tuesday but there was no evidence of any underlying problem at that time. We did not think so neither did Mr. xxxxx and consequently Georgie wasn't taken to the vet on Tuesday or the Wednesday. Unfortunately Georgie's underlying problems then presented themselves and on the Thursday Georgie was taken to her vet for treatment.

We were all very pleased that Georgie recovered very quickly but the time that she was unwell was very difficult for all parties concerned.

I have personally dealt with this very unfortunate and very upsetting incident and have spoken on the telephone to Mr. xxxxxx over 15 times. The 1st time was within 2 hours of the complaint.

I am writing this comment now as the RSPCA that were involved by request of Mr. xxxxx has completed their full investigation by checking all systems of care, actual records of health, daily photographs that were taken of Georgie and interviewed the team members concerned. I am very pleased that the RSPCS inspector was completely happy with his findings which he shared with myself and Mr. xxxxx.

It is totally understandable that Mr. xxxxxx was angry and upset as his dog was unwell, I just wanted to write this comment so that the review had some balance.

We welcome visits at anytime during business hours for dog owners to visit, talk to us about our standards, see the accommodations and play area's and make a judgement for themselves if our facility is suitable for their dog.
