Kuja is an extremely intelligent 1 year old black labrador, and we knew her energies were becoming channelled in the wrong way, running after other people's balls etc. Hence, we knew her time had come to go to Training School. We had been recommended to Royvon through friends who had also had their dog trained there, and indeed will be bringing their young chocolate labrador in for training once he is old enough. On arrival Alex came to greet us, introduced himself as her trainer, and put... (read more)

It was with some trepidation that we dropped our six month old Cockapoo Puppy off at Royvon Coventry. What we wanted was a little more understanding of Basic Commands whilst she was young and keen.It felt rather like taking a child to Boarding School!!Two weeks later Lola is still as adorable as ever but calmer and more eager to please. She had obviously been well cuddled well trained and loved. Many thanks to all who looked after Lola .So impressed were we our Daughters two Cocker Spaniels... Hi I recently booked my Siberian husky in to your Coventry training school, I was a bit apprehensive leaving her for three weeks, she's never been away from us before, but I need not have worried. Every day I checked the Royvon page on Facebook to see the photos posted there, and every day she looked like she was having a ball! When we picked her up yesterday she was so excited to see us and after we were trained by Sacha's trainer, we got the hang of the techniques used to train her. She... (read more)

I left my 2 Greyhounds Olly and Duffy in the care of Royvon Coventry knowing they would be well cared for. The care they received was way beyond my expectations, not only were they treated like top dogs during their stay as an added bonus I was able to see daily pictures of them on facebook having such a fun time in the secure play area. The staff are all extremely professional and I am so glad I have already booked them in for my next holiday. If I were to give scores out of 10 it would... (read more)

Dynamo stayed for just over 2 weeks and was very well cared for. He came home a much calmer dog. The staff were wonderful and his main carer was lovely. He will definately be back later in the year, many thanks for everything. (read more)

Our dog had behavioural issues with socialising with other dogs. He also pulled on the lead, which often meant returning home with back ache. After training with Royvon our dogs behaviour and discipline has dramatically changed. He no longer pulls on the lead and is responding well to our commands. One of the best things about this training school is that you can follow the progress of your pet each day with photos updated online, so you can view their training. Whilst you also have a great... Jess was immediately at home and received lots of fuss on her arrival. It's great there's a Facebook page as there are daily uploads of pictures, so we can see she is having fun. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and I felt as at ease as I could leaving Jess in their capable hands. (read more)

We took Lady (a nervous German Shepherd}to Royvon for training and boarding which I had reviewed on line. [name removed] was very very good with her and apparently they soon bonded to each other. When I took Lady out for a walk she tended to pull and bark at every dog, person, bike and anything in her eyesight. Since collecting her today I was very very pleased to see that when other dogs were in sight there was no barking at all, something I thought I would never see. I will post on here... (read more)

It's now two weeks since Dax returned from his training at Royvon's Coventry. On the day we went to collect him we met his trainer who gave a most informative and amusing talk on training methods and those relating to Dax specifically I wish he would produce a DVD it would be great viewing for anyone taking on a gsd puppy or adult not to mention revision for those of us who have benefited from his expertise! Dax received the best of care and from daily photo's I could see him happily at... (read more)

Our labradoodle puppy, Flynn, was just 17 weeks when he went to stay at Royvon so naturally we were a little anxious about leaving him. The pictures on Facebook were great, just to see him having fun every day and socialising with other dogs helped us enormously. When we went to collect him it was obvious he had had a great time and looked and smelled fabulous after his bath and brush up. It was obvious he had taken a big shine to Jim who was very kind to him during his stay. There are a lot... (read more)

Had 2 Greyhounds from these kennels when owned by Sari and always taken them back for holidays. Ellie my 2nd greyhound spent a few days there recently. She clearly enjoyed herself very much and was well looked after. All the staff are very good and its nice to be able to see the dogs enjoying themselves at play on facebook. Royvon are doing an awful lot of work to update the facility's and am sure when all finished it will be beautiful for the dogs that use the Kennels. Nice to know and see... (read more)

My greyhound Tony originated from these kennels when he was 2 and has been coming to these kennels ever since for holidays. He always has a great time, is well looked after and is always excited to arrive which speaks volumes. Just recently, I had to leave my dog who was poorly and they did a great job at getting him better! The staff obviously love dogs and care a great deal about their welfare which is the most important thing. It is also great that they are keeping the Greyhounds... (read more)

Our retreiver Trigger has just returned from a week residenutial training with Royvon Coventry training center. He is set in his ways as a 7 year old and was a bit agressive with other dogs he met on walks so it was this that we were looking for them to try to sort out as best they could in 7 days. The set up is very informal and Trigger appeared very happy there, his socialising and one to one attention seems to have paid of with no obviuse signes of aggresion allthough we have yet to put... This place is a bit daunting at first but don't be discouraged! I could tell that my little one was looked after beautifully by the staff - especially Jim, the ultimate dog person. Some improvements are required however. I would be happier with accommodation that had access to the outside. The Facebook photos are great but webcams would also be appreciated. That said I couldn't be happier with the attitude or care of the staff and combining the kennel with a greyhound rehoming facility is... (read more)

After 4 lessons my excitable year old gundog will now respond to commands, walk on the lead without pulling and return when called. A complete change to when we started the lessons a month ago. We continue to practice every day and follow the advice provided by Dean. Walks in the park are now a lot less stressful and more enjoyable. (read more)

I had a very excitable 2 year old labrador who basic recall, sit, stay, down etc was bad as he just wanted to go and say hello to everyone!!!! After a 3 week stay at Royvon Coventry, he is like a new dog! Dean and Laura have worked wonders. He walks nicely on and off the lead, will sit until I tell him to move and no longer jumps up. I'm really enjoying having a well-behaved dog and am spending lots of time reinforcing the training so we don't slip back into old habits. The follow-up phone... (read more)
