I love my 9 mos. standard goldendoodle. He has become a smart, wonderful, respectful and sweet dog. He is everything I had hoped for when I was looking for a dog after my pitbull passed away. My pup is great with dogs, very good with small children and very social with people. He is a goofball at times. He is becoming well trained pup. Having said that, the breeder was right, goldendoodle will test you as a pup. They are smart and will need lots of mental activities. Be prepare to keep them busy and to meet their social and exercise needs. Beware, goldendoodles love to eat socks and surf counters. They will take your steak if you are not watching.
